هذه سلسلة مكونة من ثلاثة صور تعبر عن تطور الانسان في بداية حياته. أول صورة تمثل أم في آخر حملها منتظرة قدوم طفلها إلى العالم, ليست هناك علاقة أقرب من علاقة الأم مع جنينها, فهو يسمع دقات قلبها و هي تشعر بكل حركة له. الصورة الثانية تمثل صورة لرضيع من عمر أيام فقط, يبحث عن الطمأنينة التي كان يشعر بها في رحم أمه و لا يفهم العالم الخارجي بعد, ليس له طريقة للتعبير عن نفسه سوى البكاء. الصورة الثالثة تمثل طفل رضيع بعمر سبعة أشهر, ما زال يعتمد على أهله لتلبية حاجاته لكنه بدأ يكتشف العالم حوليه و بدأ بالبحث عن استقلاليته بمحاولاته بالتحرك و التنقل لوحده و قد بدأت تفاصيل شخصيته الفريدة تظهر.
This is a series of 3 images that represent the beginning of a human life. The first is of a woman in the late stages of her pregnancy, anticipating the arrival of her infant. A mother’s relationship with her unborn baby is the closest in existence, as he hears her heartbeat and she feels his every move. The second photograph is of a newborn baby, only days old and constantly searching for the security previously felt in the mother’s womb. She doesn’t comprehend the outside world and can only cry to express her needs. The third photograph is of a seven month old baby. He still counts on his parents to take care of him but has started showing his desire for independence through his attempts at mobility. His unique personality traits are also starting to appear.
